Derek Dooley has been the Head Coach at Tennessee for a little over a week now and has already reeled in some star recruits. Certainly he hasn't had the chance to receive the bumps and bruises that the SEC has to offer, but he has somehow managed to slow the bleeding a little at UT.Coach Dooley has received commitments from well known receiver Justin Hunter, and now has also persuaded Eddrick Taylor and Martaze Jackson to give their all for Tennessee on Saturdays. With NSD fast approaching there doesn't seem to be any letting up as Dooley continues to fill out his roster while seeking a Defensive Coordinator. The Vols have been reported to have approached Joe Barry who has expressed interest in the position. Last yaer when Lane Kiffin accepted the Tennessee post he was able to reel in a top ten recruiting class in as little as two months. Dooley who has just two weeks and more responsibilities seems to be relentlessly closing in a pretty decent class of his own. Now rather or not he can coach them up seems to be in question, but if he coaches like he works The Vols should be alright come time to hit the field.
