Four former Tennessee Vols and a member of the Tennessee Titans were recognized for their NFL seasons by the Professional Football Writers Association.Former UT running back Arian Foster made the All-NFL Team and was named the NFL's most improved player. Foster led the NFL in rushing one season after being on the Houston Texans practice squad.
Former Vols tight end Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys and linebacker Jerod Mayo of the New England Patriots also made the All-NFL Team.
Former Vol Eric Berry was named to the writers All-Rookie Team at safety and Tennessee Titan Marc Mariani was named the All-Rookie punt returner.
New England's Tom Brady was named the league's Most Valuable Player by the writers.
