Mike Hamilton has been reeling for the past Month. From dealing with the sudden vacancy of the Head Coaching position, sleepless nights, and many interviews, it seems as if he has at least secured his position for another year. Hamilton received a ton of scrutinization following Kiffins' departure who was dubbed as the Coach of the future for Tennessee. Hamilton who was presented with the task of finding another Head Coach rushed to make a decision on the best fit for UT. His eventual choice of successor is Current Head Coach Derek Dooley. Dooley an unknown for the biggest part of the College Football world has done well so far on the recruiting trail, and has just hired a new Defensive Coordinator in Justin Wilcox from Boise State.
UT fans have suported Dooley since his arrival and for the most part Hamilton has held his own in the eyes of the Boosters and majority of fans. Hopefully, Dooley who is a man of Integrity and knows SEC Football, will help hamilton add to his legacy here at UT or atleast keep him on the payroll throuh 2011.
