Tim Jernigan still mulling his options

Tim Jernigan may not be out of the picture for UT as of yet. It seems that

the new Strength and Conditioning Coach Ron McKeefrey may have to put on his recriting hat out of the gate and lure this big time prospect to the hill. Jernigan has made it a priority to maintain a close relationship with the S&C coach(whomever) that may be, during his college career as a playmaker. Currently Ed Aschoff of the Gainesville Sun has reported that Jernigan has grown fond of UT's new coach McKeefrey and Chuck Smith and now has mixed feelings of who may get his last visit.

Jernigans Coach Craig Howard was stated:

"He loves Coach Smith," Howard said. "He's a real sharp guy, smart guy, has pro experience."






Howard also said Jernigan has grown close with UT's strength and conditioning coach, Ron McKeefery. Howard said an important factor for Jernigan is developing a strong relationship with the strength and conditioning coach because they'll be together more often than other coaches. That's one reason Florida has stayed in the picture for Jernigan.

Jernigan would be a big catch for Dooley this late in the game and this move would reinforce a defensive line which could clearly dominate early and with little inexperience.
